Potomac English IPA 7.4% abv

We know what you’re thinking, English IPA? What in the- let us tell you. Stronger than your typical pale ale, English style IPAs are characterized by a hearty helping of hops for bittering, while English yeast is introduced to lend a fruity character to the flavor and aroma. Blended with Falconer's Flight and Citra hops, Potomac English IPA will have you drinking pinkies up all night long. Tis trewley is a beauchiful wohk of aaht, mate.

Aged for over 4 months in A. Smith Bowman Distillery bourbon barrels from Fredericksburg VA. Think of a drunken chocolate covered cherry- yep just like that. Named after our resident SBS ghost, Walter Rice- a former firefighter from our Fire House, aged in his very own room. Cheers to you, Walter!

Pauline's Pumpkin Ale 6.2% ABV

Our brew master, Greg, had the amazing idea of turning his grandmother’s award winning pumpkin pie recipe into a unique pumpkin ale. Come fall, everyone in the family would anxiously await when Granny would make 2-3 delicious pies a week, and they never lasted long on the kitchen table... After his grandmother passed away, no one in the family had been able to duplicate the famous family recipe. That’s when Greg took things into his own hands, snuck the last pie away in the dead of night and stayed up all night long. And then eureka! It was there all along; he would use it to brew Pauline’s Pumpkin Ale. So there you have it, Granny’s legacy lives on. Just this time- with a little more alcohol.
